Love the pose, but what's so gloom and doom about Halloween, besides it being a witches sabbath and all the murder movies that distract us from the real monsters that walk our streets everyday and then there's drugs, America's problem with weight, foreign policy, a war that will never end with a win for either side, abortion clinics recieving more and more teenagers every years (actually last year there was a drop in teen pregnancy), CNN, Typhoons, starving children, AIDS is still out there but we pretend that it isn't because it isn't the hip thing to be aware of now even when there is no cure in sight and the fact that one of the hit songs of this summer was a woman singing about her umbrella and made millions ryhming umbrella with...yes umbrella (wish I thought of that) and then making the most annoying sounds afterward, and Prince made an album that I still skip through when going through my disc changer in the car....but besides that and rascism which we deny exist but it's still out there, homosexuals being denied the right to fight for their country because of things they do in their private time, America's fight over stem cell research and the fact that a grown man can be paid more than two battalions of Marines in Iraq in a month risking their lives, for playing a game (like he didn't have his choice of all the hot women in high school and in college...I'm just stating not hating) and still I can't get a job writing comics....
Beautiful job, hon'! Good luck in the contest! So many great entries... people really dig Halloween, it looks like! I just want fall/winter to be over with myself. I can't take much more of the cold and it's only just begun. *sigh*
